Descriere

Istoria distileriei Glenrothes incepe cu povestile a doi barbati exceptionali, John Stuart care a avut pentru prima data viziunea de a construi o noua distilerie in orasul Rothes si reverendul William Sharp care a strans fondurile necesare pentru a salva distileria de la ruina si a ajutat la transformarea visului lui John Stuart in realitate. Lucrarile la noua distilerie au inceput in vara anului 1878, iar la 28 decembrie 1879 primul whisky pur curge din distileria Glenrothes. Glenrothes Manse Reserve a fost lansat pentru piata de vanzare Travel si este numit asa dupa drumurile din cele 4 colturi ale Scotiei care duc la Glenothes House, o expresie moale si bogata a stilului distileriei. Acesta este fabricat din whisky-ul extras in mare parte din butoaie de stejar american si a whisky-ului din butoaiele de stejar in care a fost sherry. O multime de note de fructe se resimt in acesta precum notele de pere si mere, impreuna cu notele de vanilie si un indiciu de condimente.Miros: Buchetul acestui single malt se deosebeste prin notele de livada, biscuiti cu crema si notele floraleGust: Gustul acestui whisky se distinge prin notele de pere proaspete si condimente moiFinish: Finish-ul este unul mediu cu note de fructe si condimente
