Povestea Balvenie incepe in anul 1892 atunci cand William Grant construieste distileria Balvenie in casa abandonata Blavenie, in regiunea Speyside din Scotia. Datorita alchimiei naturale si maiestriei vechi de secole, Blavenie, este unic in randul producatorilor de single malt-uri. Procesul celor de la Blavenie, de confectionare a whisky-ului este dedicat intretinerii celor 5 mestesuguri rare si este singura distilerie din Scotia care inca isi creste singura propriul orz, foloseste inca pardosele traditionale pentru malt-uri si pastreaza inca atat un cazangiu cat si o echipa de dogari (oameni ce construiesc butoaie manual). Balvenie Single Barrel Sherry Cask 15 ani a fost maturat exclusiv intr-un singur butoi de stejar european sherry pentru cel putin 15 ani. Termenul single barrel transmite natura unica a whisky-ului single malt care a fost extras dintr-un singur butoi de distilare unica. Limitat prin natura sa, fiecare butoi de sherry Oloroso din stejar european, puternic prajit, va produce mai mult de 800 de sticle din acest whisky.Miros: Mirosul este alcatuit din fructe uscate suprapuse cu note dulciGust: Gustul este unul subtil de condimente cu note elegante de stejarFinish: Finish-ul este unul lung cu note de sherry
