Descriere
Povestea Balvenie incepe in anul 1892 atunci cand William Grant construieste distileria Balvenie in casa abandonata Blavenie, in regiunea Speyside din Scotia. Datorita alchimiei naturale si maiestriei vechi de secole, Blavenie, este unic in randul producatorilor de single malt-uri. Procesul celor de la Blavenie, de confectionare a whisky-ului este dedicat intretinerii celor 5 mestesuguri rare si este singura distilerie din Scotia care inca isi creste singura propriul orz, foloseste inca pardosele traditionale pentru malt-uri si pastreaza inca atat un cazangiu cat si o echipa de dogari (oameni ce construiesc butoaie manual). Balvenie Carribean Cask 14 ani este un single malt maturat timp de 14 ani in butoaie traditionale de stejar, iar apoi a mai fost transferat o perioada, spre final, in butoaie in care se tineau anterior romul din Carraibe. Pentru a se crea finish-ul ideal pentru acest whisky, maestrul distiler David C. Stewart a umplut butoaiele de stejar american cu amestecul sau special de romuri, iar cand acesta a apreciat ca este gata, romul a fost inlocuit cu whisky-ul de 14 ani, adaugand si ultimele atingeri acestei bauturi. Rezultatul este acest whisky single malt exceptional cu un caracter traditional si neted imbinat cu note de cafea si fructe.Miros: Balvenie Carribean Cask 14 ani are un miros bogat, dulce si cremos combinat cu note de fructe proaspeteGust: Are un gust rotunjit cu note de vanilie si stejar dulce si accente fructate care se dezvolta o data cu timpulFinish: Finish-ul este unul moale si persistent
