Distileria Scapa este o distilerie de whisky scotiana de pe insula Orkeny din Scotia si a fost fondata in 1885 Macfarlane &
Townsend si a fost in anii '50 achizitionata de Hiram Walker &
Sons Ltd si a fost reconstruita. In anul 2004 aceasta s-a confruntat din nou cu inchiderea definitiva. Acestia au continuat insa procesul de maturare a whisky-ului pe care acestia il aveau in depozite, iar in noiembrie 2009 Scapa a fost relansata si a venit cu sortimentul de 16 ani.Scapa 16 ani, a fost inital o aparitie controversata dupa cativa ani vagabonzi in care nu s-a stiut nimic de ei, insa acum castiga oamenii cu un salt de calitate dupa acei ani. Acest sortiment a sarit rapid peste mult iubitul sortiment de 12 ani, insa cu toate aceste lucruri acest single malt si-a gasit repede radacinile din Orkney si a inceput sa prinda la publicul cunoscator de single malt-uri.Miros: Mirosul acestui single malt se aseamana cu senzatia pe care o ai atunci cand iesi pe o punte de vas in timpul treceri pe mare cu note de sare si aer curat si proaspatGust: Gustul acestui single malt este unul proaspat si fructat cu note subtile de sare si fumFinish: Finish-ul este unul proaspat cu o intensitate medie
