Distileria Knockando este o distilerie de scotch single malt situata in Knockando in regiunea Speyside din Scotia. Distileria a fost construita in anul 1898 de catre John Tyler Thomson si poarta numele satului in care se afla. Numele distileriei si a satului deriva din gaelica scotiana Cnoc Cheannachd insemnand Dealul Comertului. Knockando a fost prima distilerie din Scotia care a fost construita cu iluminat electric. Knockando 12 ani este un scotch single malt produs in regiunea Speyside din Scotia, care poarta cu el o epoca vintage, imbutelierea continuand si acum sa se faca in butoaie de stejar american in care a fost tinut inainte bourbon, iar maturarea acestuia se face in 12 ani timp in care este verificat si schimbat in noi butoaie, toate acestea facand din acest single malt un whisky usor si fructat cu note picante.Miros: Mirosul se imbina in arome de caramel, vanilie, sherry si mar care se combina cu note de piper, stejar ciocolata si fumGust: Gustul este unul bogat cu nuante de caramel, stafide, pere si note picante in combinatie cu note de stejar, sherry si condimenteFinish: Finish-ul este unul mediu spre lung cu note subtile de sherry, ciocolata si fum
