Descriere
Glenkichie se afla asa cum sugereaza si numele in Kinchie Burn de langa satul Pencaitaland din estul Lothian, si fiind situata la aproximativ 30 de km de Edinburgh, distileria fiind asezata in terenurile agricole. Originile distilerii dateaza din jurul anului 1825, cand a fost fondata de fratii John si George Rate, desi nu exista inregistrari directe se pare ca Glenkinchie este distileria Milton inregistrata anterior in zona, aceasta fiind redenumita probabil de catre fratii Rate, probabil prin anul 1837.Glenkinchie Distiller Edition este un scoth single malt din regiunea Lowland din Scotia, un single malt premiat si apreciat de catre cunoscatorii de single malt-uri si nu numai. Dupa ce acest sortiment sta timp de 10 ani intr-un butoi de reumplere pentru a dezvolta un caracter moale se mai face o maturare secundara intr-un butoi de lemn Amontillado, ales special, ca toate lucurirle bune sa continue.Miros: Mirosul acestui sortiment se invarte in jurul notelor ferme si mai uscate de vanilie, struguri cu note mai dulci de malt si lemnGust: Gustul este unul mai uscat cu note de biscuiti, malt si struguriFinish: Finish-ul este unul foarte lung, uscat si cu note de stejar
