Descriere
In anul 1820, fondatorul distileriei Glengoyne, George Connell a inceput sa distileze whisky in secret la Ferma Burnfoot, unde se afla si astazi distileria Glengoyne. Cascada de apa ascunsa si stralucirea fermei in miniatura il face pe George sa treaca neobservat de accizatori, continuand sa distileze ilegal, neffind primul care face acest lucru in aceasta perioada in Scotia. Cu toate acestea in anul 1833, George decide sa lucreze in cadrul legii si dobandeste licenta de distilare.Glengoyne 12 ani este un single malt ce poate fi descris ca un mix perfect intre arome dulci si note lemnoase. Si acesta la fel ca Glengoyne 10 ani, este distilat din orz neafumat iar in plus fata de cel de 10 ani acesta este invechit si in butoaie de bourbon pe langa cele obinuite de sherry. Acesta isi imbogateste astfel aromele adaugand note subtile de vanilie, citrice pe langa notele fructate de la butoaiele de sherry.Miros: Buchetul acestui single malt este unul predominant dulceag cu note de cereale, fagure si coaja de lamaieGust: Gustul este caracterizat printr-o aroma unica de mar caramelizat, portocala, ghimbir, vanilie si influente de sherryFinish: Finish-ul este unul uscat si aromat
