Descriere
In anul 1820, fondatorul distileriei Glengoyne, George Connell a inceput sa distileze whisky in secret la Ferma Burnfoot, unde se afla si astazi distileria Glengoyne. Cascada de apa ascunsa si stralucirea fermei in miniatura il face pe George sa treaca neobservat de accizatori, continuand sa distileze ilegal, neffind primul care face acest lucru in aceasta perioada in Scotia. Cu toate acestea in anul 1833, George decide sa lucreze in cadrul legii si dobandeste licenta de distilare.Glengoyne 10 ani este un single malt cu un gust de mere verzi proaspete si un indiciu orz, gust care este caracteizat distilarii mai lente, mai lente decat oricare alta din Scotia si asta datorita orzului pe care acestia il usuca prin aer, niciodata cu ajutorul fumului si al turbei. Acest single malt este tinut apoi la maturare in butoaie confectionate manual din stejar american si european in care a fost deja sherry.Miros: Buchetul acestui single malt se compune din note dulci de caramel, nuci, popcorn care sunt completate de notele de mar verdeGust: Gustul este unul clar de cereale, mar verde si lemn de stejar invaluite in tente fine de lemn dulce si migdaleFinish: Finish-ul este unul lung, curat si usor dulceag
