Descriere
Distileria Caol Ila a fost fondata in anul 1846, iar aceasta s-a schimbat mult de-a lungul istoriei sale. Cand Barnard a vizitat distileria, ea fusese deja reconstruita complet si a fost extinsa continuu de atunci. In anul 1972 toate cladirile, cu exceptia depozitelor, au fost demolate si reconstruita distileria de astazi. Acum Caol Ila este cea mai mare distilerie in Islay, care produce dublu chiar si fata de Laphroaig, iar spiritul Caol Ila este o componenta cheie si se regaseste in multe blenduri de whisky.Caol Ila Moch este un single malt extraordinar, simplu, usor crocant, hotarator si inconfundabil la gust. Moch este cuvantul in galeza pentru zori, iar acest single malt, este o perspectiva cu totul mai usoara, mai expresiva, mai fresh decat clasica expresie standard a distileriei veche de 12 ani. Acest single malt prezinta arome de serbet de lamaie si mar cu note de iarba uscata si fum, cu un gust moale de placinta cu bezea de lamaie si note de turba care calmeaza fumul de lemn.Miros: Buchetul acestui single malt se simte ca nisipul umed si sarat dupa ce valurile se retrag cu note usoare de fumGust: Gustul este unul neprevazut, dulce si sarat cu o acciditate echilibrata si cu notele afumate specifice Caol IlaFinish: Finish-ul este unul destul de scurt, uscat cu note afumate persistente
