Descriere
Bowmore este cea mai veche distilerie din regiunea Islay din Scotia si gazduieste cel mai vechi depozit de maturare a whisky-ului din lume, numit si No.1 Vaults. In acest depozit legendar whisky-ul Bowmore a fost maturat cu meticulozitate de maestrii distilatori de aproape 240 de ani. Prima mentiune inregistrata despre distileria Bowmore, dateaza din anul 1779, cand se vorbea cu drag despre cativa dintre distilatorii mai vechi ai insulei. Fondatorul lui Bowmore, comerciantul David Simson a cumparat terenul in anul 1766. Cand vine vorba despre mostenirea whisky-ului, distileria Bowmore este de neegalat, continuand sa transmita traditiile, abilitatile si expertiza urmasilor, exact asa cum au fost elaborate in primele zile ale whisky-ului din Islay.Bowmore 12 ani reflecta perfect esenta lui Bowmore: valuri zdrobitoare, peisaje vatuite de vant si generatii de traditie in care cei 12 ani ai whisky-ului sunt atat de complexi cat si perfect echilibrati. Lamaia subtila si mierea dulce completeaza fumul de turba (carbune cu care se afuma whisky-ul) al lui Bowmore ceea ce duce la un whisky delicos, lung si moale.Miros: Bowmore 12 ani completeaza notele de lamaie si miere cu notele subtile si frumos echilibrate de fumGust: Este unul calduros si delicos cu arome subtile de ciocolata neagraFinish: Finish-ul este unul delicos de fin si moale cu o urma blanda de fum
