Descriere

Productia a inceput in distileria Arran din Lochranza acum aproape 25 de ani. Multe alte locatii au fost luate in considerare la acea vreme pentru instalarea distileriei insa apropierea de Loch na Davie ne-a furnizat o sursa destul de speciala de apa dulce pentru distilare. Acest lucru va tine distileria multi ani deacum incolo datorita sursei de apa proapspete. A doua distilerie a celor de la Arran s-a deschis anul trecut in sudul insulei la Lagg unde se realizeaza un stil foarte unic de peated single malt, single malt afumat.Arran Sauternes Cask Finish este o parte mai dulce a Arran Single Malt, ceea ce-l face ideal pentru deserturi avand note complementate de caise, pepenegalben si caprifoi. Pentru a atinge acest stagiu traditionaul Arran Single Malt se maturat in butoaie de stejar timp de 8 ani si este finalizat prin trecerea lui printr-o selectie de butoaie de vin Sauternes. Aceste butoaie de vin alb dulce de Bordeaux sunt selectate in mod special de catre maestrul nostru distiler, pentru a se asigura ca atat notele de vin cat si notele de whisky se imbina perfect armonios.Miros: Acest sortiment are un buchet de citrice cu note de miere dulceGust: Are un gust deschis de vanilie si citrice urmat de note imbietoare de stejar prajitFinish: Are un finish moale, persistent cu note de miere, caise si pepene galben
