Descriere

Povestea distileriei Knockdhu, unde se produce single malt-ul anCnoc, incepe cu un om cu viziune si cu ochi pentru o investitie buna. In 1892, John Morrison a cumparat mosia Knock. Terenul inconjurator era plin de truba si orz iar calea ferata era in apropriere si atunci cand au fost gasite izvoare de apa pura si limpede, John a vazut o ocazie de aur. Au fost trimise probe de apa pentru analiza si au fost demarate negocieri cu The Distillers Company din Edinburgh pentru construirea unei distilerii. Distileria si-a deschis portile in anul 1894, iar pe atunci era privita ca intruchiparea perfecta a distileriei moderne.Carisma indelungata a distileriei Knockdhu rasuna de atractia atemporala din apropierea Knock Hill, cunoscuta de localnici sub numele de Black Hill. Este sursa izvoarelor care ne aduce acest whisky si in umbra careia distileria a inflorit in 1894. Un plus deosebit pentru gama de whisky-uri de la anCnoc este si Black Hill Reserve fiind marturia celor mai bune calitati ale lui anCnoc, maturat exclusiv in primele butoaie de stejar american in care a fost bourbon, acesta este un whisky la fel de captivant ca si coltul istoric al Scotiei de unde provine.Miros: Buchetul acestui single malt se distinge prin notele luminoase si crocante de citrice, mere verzi si nuca de cocos fiind completate de miere si vanilie proaspataGust: Gustul este unul bogat ce aduce aminte de condimente macinate, pere, coaja de portocale confiate cu o dulceata ascutita.Finish: Finish-ul este unul lung si intens
