Descriere
Istoria Powers incepe in anul 1791 cand John's Lane infiinteata distileria in Dublin. Au urmat cativa ani in care distileria lucra in continuare pana cand in anul 1877 este inregistrata marca Powers, P-ul in acel romb de culoare rosie. Abia dupa aproape 10 ani de la inregistrarea marcii Powers imbuteliaza primul whiskey din Dublin, Gold Label. Primul whiskey imbuteliat si un standard devenit pentru fiecare pub din Dublin datorita semnaturii Pot Still Blend, fiind distilat de 3 ori si sustras direct de la inima distilatului, rezultand astfel o aroma bogata in miere si condimente piperate.Sa trecem direct la subiect in ceea ce priveste Powers Gold Label pe langa celelalte whiskey-uri. Distilam acest whiskey de inalta calitate non-stop de aproape 230 de ani si fiecare picatura este tripla distilata. Este apoi lasat la maturare in butoaie de stejar american si este apoi amestecat cu un whiskey din cereale pentru o aroma inconfundabila. Cu condimente complexe si gust neted de miere nu este de mirare ca Gold Label a fost unul dintre cele mai vandute whiskey-uri din Irlanda de secole. Miros: Powers Gold Label are un miros usor de scortiosoara, ulei de cuisoare si ardei alb in echilibru cu notele de mere zdrobite si pere coapte,imbinate cu iz de stejar carbonizat.Gust: Acesta are un gust placut de miere, scortisoara, ardei si o nota de nucsoara combinata cu fructe de livada, vanilie si stejar prajit, asezate cumva pe un miez de orz crocantFinish: Finish-ul este unul lung de pot still cu note de mirodenii si uleiuri ce se estompeaza lent cu orzul si lemnul prajit
