Descriere
Istoria Bulleit începe atunci când Thomas E. Bulleit Jr. a reușit în 1987 să-și îndeplinească visul de-o viață, acela de a reînvia o rețetă veche de whiskey din familie, astfel punând bazele distileriei Bulleit. Inspirat de străbunicul său care în anii 1830-1860 a făcut un whiskey din secară de înaltă calitate, Tom a lăsat deoparte o cariera de succes în justiție și a riscat totul pentru a experimenta viața la forntiera ca producator ce nu urmează întocmai canoanele, creând astfel un frontier whiskey de excepție, iar astăzi nu suntem singurii care se bucură că a făcut acest lucru. Bulleit 95 Rye este un whiskey care se obține folosind un macerat de cereale care conține 95% secară și 5% orz, ceea ce îi conferă un caracter condimentat și o complexitate inegalabilă. A fost lansat în anul 2011, iar în timp a câsigat mai multe premii și continuă să urce in clasamentul celor mai îndrăgite whiskey-uri de secară de pe piată. Acest sortiment este maturat în butoaie de stejar american, noi și este produs in loturi mici, small batch. Miros: Buchetul acestui whiskey de secară se învârte în jurul aromelor de vanilie și cireșe cu note subtile de tutun. Gust: Gustul acestui whiskey este dulceag și condimentat cu arome de piersică, cireșe, lemn de stejar, miere și portocală. Finiș: Finișul este unul lung, ușor afumat și condimentat.
